According to our ambition to increase the metro pollution awareness, we decided to build a survey in order to gather people’s opinions about the topic, to design our action depending on it.

* Age
* How often do you use the metro?
* Which metro line do you mostly use?
* Which metro line do you like least to use?
* In short, why?
* Which word do you automatically associate with the word “metro”?
*When traveling to other countries, what impression does the subway give you? (compared to Paris metro)
* Did you know that the metro is one of the most polluted spaces in Paris?
* Do you feel concerned by the problem of air pollution in the metro?
* What projects would you consider relevant to improving the quality of life of users on the metro?

Information on the respondents:
* 1237 answers
Our sample of respondents is formed by young people, that use the metro several times a week. Thus, the information provided by them is valuable in our project.
We performed data analysis and joint variables correlation studies to compute the following results.
* Line 1 is the most used by our sample’s individuals, by all users’ categories (daily to occasionally, and all ages).
* Line 13 is the least liked by our sample’s individuals, by all users’ categories (daily to occasionally, and all ages). We also note that daily users particularly dislike line 13.
* The individuals in our sample are globally aware of the pollution issue in the metro, regardless of their age category their frequency of use. It should be noted, however, that 25-30 year old users are slightly more aware of the phenomenon.
* On average, 80% of the individuals in our sample feel concerned about the metro pollution issue. The variance by age category and frequency of use is almost non-existent.
At the end of the survey, people had to write proposition to improve the metro. Thus, people propose to set plants in the metro and more specifically green spaces. They also thought about installing air purifier.
The air quality is a worry for passengers but cleanliness is also a hot topic that is why lots of participants to the survey proposed to set disinfectant for hand in self -service.
